Black parents Benjamin Ihegboro & Angela Ihegboro have white child (photo)

Benjamin and Angela Ihegboro are a black couple but they have a daughter with white skin, blond hair and blue eyes. Doctors at the British hospital said baby Nmachi isn’t born an albino.

Neither Mr or Mrs Ihegboro know of any whites in their ancestry. They had moved to Britain, from their native Nigeria, about 5 years ago. Benjamin and Angela Ihegboro have two older children who were born black. Their daughter Dumebi Ihegboro is two, and their son, Chisom, is four years old.

Genetic experts said they were unable to explain why Nmachi Ihegboro has white skin. Usually parents who have the light colored skin gene may produce off spring whose skin color is light in color. The gene for skin color may skip one or two generations and suddenly show up. When an individual has a mixed genetic combination, unusual traits may manifest.

There was no talk of DNA paternity testing. Mr Ihegboro said he had complete trust in his wife’s fidelity, and furthermore, baby Nmachi’s features seem to be Nigerian, despite the skin, hair and eye color. Mr Ihegboro said that of course, baby Nmachi was fathered by him only.

There may have been gene mutation in the gene controlling color in Nmachi.

Nmachi Ihegboro was born with a head of long, curly, blond hair. Even the white, blond haired babies do not show this characteristic. Probably the gene for hair may have been directly inherited from her parents.

The mother’s egg may be having the genes for the white skin color while the sperm which fertilized her egg may be containing all the genes for white skin too. That would be a likely explanation why a pair of black parents had a baby with white skin, blond hair, blue eyes, and with features looking like a white baby.

Sofa Jumping

A week or so ago, I was lying on the floor in front of our sofa. My two year old was on the sofa standing up. He came close to the edge and I helped him jump off and flip in there while holding his waist. He laughed and went back to playing. I went back to watching the TV. A moment later I see a toddler flying through the air so I quickly reacted to catch him and brought him down to the ground with a flip again. He continued to do it over and over. We did it several more times, before I finally told him he had to stop. Each time, he would just boldly jump, and though I couldn’t always see what part of the sofa he was choosing to jump from, I would jerk around every which way to catch him.

Mark 10:13-16
13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Just as my son trusted me continually we must trust God. He knew his dad held him once and he knew that meant his dad would always hold him. I believe this is what Jesus was talking about, when he said we must have childlike faith. But instead, what often happens with us is that we see God work in one area of our life, or help resolve one situation, but when the next one comes up, we go back to relying on ourselves to get through it. Others think God can forgive us of this sin, but not that one. In one way or another, our trust in him wavers from time to time. But not a child - I bet if I laid down on the floor again, it wouldn’t be long before I saw my boy hurling himself over the edge again.

Sure, climbing down off the sofa is safer, but jumping out into the air seems like a whole lot more fun. God – here I come. WHEEEEE!

tattoo and body piercings

What the Bible Says About God’s View of
Tattoos and Body Piercing

Two Interesting Verses
The Bible’s teaching concerning this issue is complex, not because it is somehow difficult to understand, but rather because it is a “side issue” that the Bible really does not address head on. There is one passage that seems to teach against such things, Leviticus chapter 19, verse 28, which says:

You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.
However, only nine verses earlier in the same chapter (Leviticus 19:19) the people of Israel were also commanded to avoid mixing fibers in garments:

Nor shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you.

Therefore, if someone chose to consider a tattoo sinful, then they would have to toss all their cotton/polyester clothing too!

So What Do We Do?
It helps to know that God originally set aside the Jewish people as a “higher standard” among the pagan nations, through whom the Messiah would come. As a result, many of their laws were given to wean them from pagan customs, habits, and appearance.

The book of Romans (and the rest of the New Testament for that matter) emphasizes that we are no longer under that Law. Jesus paid for our sins, so people no longer have to try “cleaning themselves” to be worthy of being around a holy God. Stated another way, the Old Testament made it clear that people could NOT stay clean on their own, so God sent His Son, who could and did live a sinless, “clean” life. By accepting Christ, we benefit from His work, not ours. (See our page “Why Christ Had To Do The Job” for more information.)

For that reason, the “ceremonial cleanliness” laws were done away with once Christ provided a new way to get right with God. Still, some laws were not ceremonial or fashionable in nature (to set people apart from other nations) but rather civil and moral. Those laws are still valid and many of them were repeated often in the New Testament. If you have not read it lately, read the book of James. It is a good overview of desirable Christian behavior.

Although this is a brief treatment of this subject, you should get the idea. The bottom line is that the Bible does not clearly define tattoos and body piercing as a sin.

There is one thing to consider, though. Since people react to tattoos, short skirts, beards, motorcycles, smoking, and other things in unpredictable ways; a Christian must determine what their “audience” (Christian and non-Christian) will think about Christians (using that person as the example of their admiration or scorn) if they appear or behave in some way. That said, this issue becomes a “matter of conscience.” Romans 14:1-15.6 (chapter 14 verse 1 through chapter 15 verse 6) discusses matters of conscience and uses food as an example. Therefore, each Christian should thoughtfully examine this passage, and modify their appearance or behavior accordingly.

A Person in Need

A Person in Need in Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. (Verse 1)

Because the Lord is in my life, I have all I need. When I crave time to rest, God shows me a quiet place. He gives me strength to recharge my mind and muscles. God is the leader; I’m the follower. It is refreshing at times, when I don’t have the energy to make a decision, never mind the motivation to think it through.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. (Verse 5)

When there are times I don’t think I can do a task, He provides the help and the job gets done. I can be facing a life-defying challenge, on the brink of death, and no fear will be found in me. It is refreshing to bask in His presence, as His child. I don’t have to prove anything, or be what I am expected to be.

My identity is protected. God is guiding me, how can I fail? His way is foolproof, He provides me with blessings. When my enemies confront me, I have Godly favor. It may sound too good to be true, but it’s not. God’s love and care are genuine. This kindness and goodness of God’s love never stop.

Without God, we'd have no movement, no breath, no life. Acts 17:28 goes on to say: "For in him, we live and move and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'" God isn’t far from anyone’s grasp. That is what God seeks - people to have a connection with Him.

Are there any needs that seem impossible for God to meet? What is keeping you from believing?

Lord, I will not open the door to worry. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Career Progress

Career Progress
Psalm 62:8, "And lovingkindness is Thine, O Lord, for Thou dost recompense a man according to his work."
Question: "What do I do after waiting in vein for more than five years, to see some progress in my career, despite the fact that I am delivering strong performance?"

Answer: This is a hard question to answer, because I can almost feel the despair in it. There are some practical things, of course. The first might be to look for another job. There are lots ways to do this. It is very easy to post a resume on the Internet, and to spend an hour each evening looking for openings, or searching through job list openings, that can be signed up for on the Internet, can be useful to finding something. You might not even have to relocate. Often, another way to advance a career is to take some classes at a local university, get some certifications, and/or show that you are still developing as a person. I can't know if you have tried these things, but they are some practical steps that can be taken, to get noticed and seek to advance.

From a spiritual perspective, I will say first that it is possible that you have to adjust to the fact that the Lord has you right where you are, and He has you there for a reason. It could be that it is to build a relationship with someone. It might be with someone who the Lord is seeking to draw to Himself. He might use you to that purpose. He might use you to get them connected to a good church, or simply to encourage them in their walk with Christ. On another front, it could be that the Lord is teaching you to wait patiently upon Him for all your dreams, hopes, and desires. It is a hard lesson to learn, but one that we must all learn. It could be that the Lord is teaching you - through this - that His plan, His timing, are always perfect.

The Psalmist says (Psalm 25:5), "For Thee I wait all day." Like Job, we have to acknowledge that sometimes, God allows things in our lives, even things that at the time seem disagreeable, that are ultimately for our growth and good. It could be, and I hope it is so, that you will look back in future years and say, "Now I know that the Lord's hand was in my feeling of being stuck at that time, and I can only confess that He knew exactly what He was doing all along."

We have to wait on God's time, and we have to believe. It is easy to type the words. It is easy to read the words. It is next to impossible to do. We desire the Lord to work on our calendar, but He doesn't. We expect God to meet our expectations, but He seems to be in the business of reminding us that His ways are better than our ways (Isaiah 55:8, 9). His sovereign, providential plan far exceeds our plans, but we still have (and rightly so) plans, expectations, dreams, hopes and desires of our own. The Christian lays these things at the foot of the cross, and submits to the Lord and His will in everything. We often do it kicking and screaming, but when we come to Christ, we come to Him with our whole person, and we give everything over to His will. The glorious comforts of the Gospel provide comforts that the world can never come close to matching. All our wants are met, and all our griefs our covered with the joy of forgiveness. The consolations that
the believer receives in Christ do lead through the wilderness of this world, to lasting happiness, that only the redeemed in Christ can know and experience.
Soli Deo Gloria,

NEW FORM OF KIDNAPPING

NEW FORM OF KIDNAPPING

Please take a minute to read this. This is very scary and could happen to any of us.. Seems like every nice thing people do for one another can be perverted.

A new twist on kidnapping from a very smart survivor:
About a month ago there was a woman standing by the mall entrance passing out flyers to all the women going in. The woman had written the flyer herself to tell about an experience she had, so that she might warn other women.

The previous day, this woman had finished shopping, went out to her car and discovered that she had a flat.

She got the jack out of the trunk and began to change the flat. A nice man dressed in a business suit and carrying a briefcase walked up to her and said, 'I noticed you're changing a flat tire. Would you like me to take care of it for you?'

The woman was grateful for his offer and accepted his help. They chatted amiably while the man changed the flat, and then put the flat tire and the jack in the trunk, shut it and dusted his hands off.

The woman thanked him profusely, and as she was about to get in her car, the man told her that he left his car around on the other side of the mall, and asked if she would mind giving him a lift to his car.

She was a little surprised and she asked him why his car was on other side.

He explained that he had seen an old friend in the mall that he hadn't seen for some time and they had a bite to eat, visited for a while, and he got turned around in the mall and left through the wrong exit, and now he was running late.

The woman hated to tell him 'no' because he had just rescued her from having to change her flat tire all by herself, but she! felt un easy . (Trust that gut feeling!)

Then she remembered seeing the man put his briefcase in her trunk before shutting it and before he asked her for a ride to his car.

She told him that she'd be happy to drive him around to his car, But she just remembered one last thing she needed to buy (Smart woman!!)

She said she would only be a few minutes; he could sit down in her car and wait for her; she would be as quick as she could be

She hurried into the mall, and told a security guard what had happened, the guard came out to her car with her, but the man had left. They opened the trunk, took out his locked briefcase and took it down to the police station.

The police opened it (ostensibly to look for ID so they could return it to the man). What they found was rope, duct tape, and knives. When the police checked her 'flat' tire, there was nothing wrong with it; the air had simply been let out. It was obvious what the man's intention was, and obvious that he had carefully thought it out i n advance. The woman was blessed to have escaped harm.

How much worse it would have been if she had children with her and had them wait in the car while the man fixed the tire, or if she had a baby strapped into a car seat ? Or if she'd gone against her judgment and given him a lift?

I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know. It may save a life.
A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle. I was going to send this to the ladies only; but guys, if you love your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, etc.., you may want to pass it on to them, as well.
Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that The world we live in has a lot of crazies in it. Better to be safe than sorry.

PLEASE BE SAFE AND NOT
SORRY.

laptop fire

This is Life......anything could happen......anytime.

This has happened to our close relative's best friend's son
Regards
To all:

You may have herd that a good friend of ours in Mequon lost their 25 year old son (Arun Gopal Ratnam) in a fire at home June 4th. This is what happened. He graduated with MBA from University of Wisconsin-Madison two weeks earlier and came home. Had a lunch with his dad at home and decided to go back to to clean up his room at school. Father told him to wait and see his mother before he goes back for a few days. He decided to take a snooze while waiting for his mom to come home from work.

Neighbors called 911 when they saw black smoke coming out of the house. Their 25 year old son Arun died in the three year old house. It took several days of investigation to find out the cause of the fire. It was determined that the fire was caused by lap top in the bed. When the lap top is on the bed cooling fan does not get air to cool the computer and that is what caused the fire. He did not even wake up to get out of the bed he died of carbon monoxide.

The reason I writing this to all of you is that I have seen all of us using our lap top in bed. Let us all decide and make it a practice not to do that. Risk is real. Let us make it a rule not to use lap top in bed or put computer on bed with blankets and pillows around.

What a way to learn a lesson?

Thank You.

Doing It God's Way

Numbers 22:9-35

Then the Lord opened Balaam's eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road, with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown. (Numbers 22:31)

Balaam is a good example of what happens when we do things our way. God told Balaam he could go to Moab under one condition, if someone asked him to go. Balaam ignored God, and left without an invitation. Balaam found out, the hard way, what happens when we disobey the Lord.

Balaam never had a problem with his donkey before this trip. The animal got off course and ended up in a field. They get back on the road, and then the donkey was against a wall, crushing Balaam's foot. Oh, the pain that must have been. Balaam tapped him, and they continued traveling. Then the animal somehow blocked the two into a narrow place, with no possible way to get turned around. Then the animal laid down. This time, Balaam struck the donkey with his cane.

It may be hard to believe what happened next, but the Bible says the donkey spoke! After Balaam hit the donkey, the animal asked what he had done to deserve being hit. Naturally Balaam was amazed a donkey could talk. He was also shocked he would ask such a question. And then Balaam saw what the donkey had been viewing on this trip, an angel standing in their way. Imagine being Balaam, and seeing an angel and a talking donkey, all in the same day.

Immediately, Balaam bowed his head respectfully. The angel repeated the donkey's question, wondering why he could hit an animal. The angel told Balaam he was standing in the way, and the donkey moved each time, to avoid the angel. If the animal hadn't moved, Balaam would have been dead by now. He apologized to the angel, for he didn't see him, and decided to return home. The angel told Balaam he could continue the trip, but to not take control.

This time, Balaam complied with God's plan, and only did and said what the Lord wanted him to. Through Balaam's frustrating and painful experience, he realized that he was the Lord's vessel. God went through a lot to get Balaam's attention. How does God nudge you?

Lord, Open my eyes. I want to view things with spiritual ones. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

EFFECTS OF LONG CALLS

This is important information.

1 Egg
2 Mobiles
65 minutes of connection between mobiles.
We assembled something as per image:

Initiated the call between the two mobiles and allowed 65 minutes approximately...
During the first 15 minutes nothing happened;
25 minutes later the egg started getting hot;
45 minutes later the egg is hot;
65 minutes later the egg is cooked.

Conclusion: The immediate radiation of the mobiles has the potential to modify the proteins of the egg. Imagine what it can do with the proteins of your brains when you do long calls.

NEEDLE CAN SAVE THE LIFE OF A STROKE PATIENT

NEEDLE CAN SAVE THE LIFE OF A STROKE PATIENT -- .
From a Chinese Professor .
Keep a syringe or needle in your home to do this.... It's amazing and an unconventional way of recovering from stroke, read it through it can help somebody one day.

This is amazing. Please keep this very handy. Excellent tips.
Do take a minute to read this. You'll never know, ones life may depend on you.

My father was paralyzed and later died from the result of a stroke. I wish I knew about this first aid before.
When stroke strikes, the capillaries in the brain will gradually burst. (Irene Liu)
When a stroke occurs, stay calm.

No matter where the victim is, do not move him/her. Because, if moved, the capillaries will burst.

Help the victim to sit up where he/she is to prevent him/her from falling over again and then the blood letting can begin .

If you have in your home an injection syringe that would be the best.

Otherwise, a sewing needle or a straight pin will do.

1. Place the needle/pin over fire to sterilize it and then use it to prick the tip of all ......10 fingers.
2. There are no specific acupuncture points, just prick about an mm from the fingernail.
3. Prick till blood comes out.
4. If blood does not start to drip, then squeeze with your fingers.
5. When all 10 digits is bleeding, wait a few minutes then the victim will regain consciousness.

6. If the victim's mouth is crooked , then pull on his ears until they are red.
7. Then prick each earlobe twice until two drops of blood comes from each earlobe.
After a few minutes the victim should regain consciousness.

Wait till the victim regains his normal state without any abnormal symptoms then take him to the hospital.
Otherwise, if he was taken in the ambulance in a hurry to the hospital, the bumpy trip will cause all the capillaries in his brain to burst.

If he could save his life, barely managing to walk, then it is by the grace of his ancestors.
'I learned about letting blood to save life from Chinese traditional doctor, Ha Bu Ting, who lives in Sun Juke.

Furthermore, I had practical experience with it. Therefore, I can say this method is 100% effective.
In 1979, I was teaching in Fung Gaap College in Tai Chung.

One afternoon, I was teaching a class when another teacher came running to my classroom and said in panting,
'Ms Liu, come quick, our supervisor has had a stroke !'. I immediately went to the 3rd floor.
When I saw our supervisor, Mr. Chen Fu Tien, his colour was off, his speech was slurred , his mouth was crooked - all the symptoms of a stroke.

I immediately asked one of the practicum students to go to the pharmacy outside the school to buy a syringe , which I used to prick Mr. Chen's 10 fingers tips.

When all 10 fingers were bleeding (each with a pea-sized drop of blood), after a few minutes, Mr. Chen's face regained its colour and his eyes' spirit returned,

But his mouth was still crooked . So I pulled on his ears to fill them with blood . When his ears became red ,
I pricked his right earlobe twice to let out two drops of blood .

When both earlobes had two drops of blood each , a miracle happened .
Within 3-5 minutes the shape of his mouth returned to normal and his speech became clear.

We let him rest for a while and have a cup of hot tea , then we helped him go down the stairs, drove him to Wei Wah Hospital . He rested one night and was released the next day to return to school to teach.. Everything worked normally.
There were no ill after effects.
On the other hand, the usual stroke victim usually suffers Irreparable bursting of the brain capillaries on the way to the hospital. As a result, these victims never recover.' (Irene Liu)Therefore, stroke is the second cause of death. The lucky ones will stay alive but can remain paralysed for life.

It is such a horrible thing to happen in ones life.

If we can all remember this blood letting method and start the life saving process immediately , in a short time, the victim will be revived and regain 100% normality.

IF POSSIBLE PLEASE FORWARD THIS AFTER READING . YOU NEVER KNOW IT MAY HELP SAVE A LIFE FROM STROKE

look both ways

We were out in the yard on a recent evening, on “armadillo patrol” with our dog Pierre . It was the hour when they normally come out of the woods, to go foraging through the yard (and digging amazingly deep holes!). My husband and I were ready to run after Pierre , whose age hasn’t hampered his speed. We weren’t taking our eyes off the woods to the right, not for a moment, ready for the armadillo chase (we won’t let him catch one). All of a sudden, there was a flurry of activity to the left, and we pivoted quickly, to find Pierre running in that opposite direction, chasing off a fox! We were so busy looking to the right, that we entirely missed the threat approaching from the left.

Isn’t that how we sometimes are with sin? Many of us watch out for the obvious “big ones,” and avoid those. We don’t cheat on our taxes or spouses, we don’t physically abuse our family members, we don’t murder anyone, nor steal anyone else’s physical property. But what about the sins coming from other directions – what about having a poor work ethic, such as only doing what we “have” to (instead of worknig "as unto God," as Colossians instructs us), stealing songs by making copies on CDs (even when it's not done for monetary gain, it's theft from the artist, and illegal), or arrogance (we feel that we are better than others, or that they are “boring” – what arrogance, to devalue one of God’s children this way!)? I’m sure you can name some, as well (I would be interested in hearing them. I appreciate all the responses that you guys send!). I encourage us all to ask God to “test our hearts,” and help us avoid the sins
that come from ALL directions.
